The Beginning of SSCHatAdult-3

This morning I casted on 120 stitches on the circular needle for a seed stitch cabled hat for a Christmas gift for Jill’s mother. However, I misjudged the length of tail needed to cast on the yarn and had to pull the 116 stitches off the needle and recast the yarn.

By the night news, I finished the brim, 15 rounds. I knitted the first three rounds with the excess tail, creating a nice thick edge on the brim. This is definitely a technique to use when knitting hats.
